Ante Poker Bet

Bring-in

This is also the type of obligatory poker bet made before the gamblers wager but after the cards deal. Bring-in is usually made by the poker player who holds the strongest or weakest value of the card dealt to each player face-up. Bring-in is applied to open betting round in the games with the antes rather than the blind bets. For example, in stud poker Bring-in is assigned for the player with the worst face up card at the first betting round. The size of bring-in is the same as the min betting size, however, in the fixed-limit and spread-limit versions it is usually the half of this betting amount.

Post

In some of poker variations the new gambler that joins the game in progress has to post that means to make poker bet equal to the big blind bet or the lowest betting amount. The gambler who missed to make the blind bet for some reasons (was not at the seat) also is to post after he or she returns to the play. The players that anyway make the big blind bet are not to post. The post bet amount depends on the betting minimum and maximum set by the rules.
